Gold-coast is Losing Its Gold

In discussing why the sand is being lost at the Gold Coast in Tuen Mun, I pointed it out that the current in that strait has been exasperated due to the narrowing up of the water passage by the airport. The situation may become worsen if the 3rd runway be built in future. Hence, I suggest TMDC should make its view known to HK International Airport in their EIA for building the 3rd runway.

黃金泳灘失沙事件

黃金泳灘自九十年代初建成後，曾經成為屯門名勝地，唯香港國際機塲建成後，水道狹窄而加強或改變了水流，做成對海灘的沖擊而道致失沙，經過十多年的洗禮，今天已有四份之一的海灘無法使用，我建議議區議會在機塲做ElA報告反應意見。
