感謝神恩一青山三洲媽

很高興昨天受邀出席一年一度的三洲媽神功氣。傳統上，為答謝三洲媽神靈一直照顧青山居民，保祐漁民出海，天旱時下雨滋潤田野，缺乏陽光時又會放出太陽普照大地。故此每年都舉辦神功戲，酬謝神恩。神功戲已舉辦多年，但由於政府決定明年收回土地以作居住發展之用，三洲媽神功戲需要另覓地方才可繼續這個傳統，昨晚我們也藉著機會向地政署反映意見，希望得到政府的支持，好譲這個有意義的傳統得以承傳下去。

Sam Chau Goddess of The Sea

I was pleased to attend the annual Chinese opera event organised by the Sam Chau Ma Association. Traditionally, it was supposed to be a ritual event to worship and express gratitude towards the Goddess for providing good care and protection of the people and fishermen around Castle Peak. But due to the government policy to build more residential flats, the land at which the annual opera was performed would be taken back. So I sized the opportunity to appeal to the principle land executive attending to make a new land provision to the association to continue such meaningful cultural event.
