The Right Thinking of EAP

After running almost half of a year of campaign on opposing the expansion of landfills, it seems that our message has eventually got into the ears of the members of the Environmental Affairs Panel . They now decide to call for a public hearing to evaluate which technology is more suitable for managing the urban waste in Hong Kong. They say they would not rubber stamp on government’s current proposal for constructing an incinerator and expanding three landfills. They would invite NTCG to make a submission on their case sometime in March.
