我去東涌和林悦議員一起向當地居民派發应節禮品。這一次，我們的派发对象是早上的晨練人士。我們見到有超過20人在海堤灣畔（Seaview Crescent）的花園打太極。有時候，我會覺得慚愧，因為在鍛煉身體方面沒有他們的毅力。这班晨运客開朗樂觀、精神奕奕，當收到我們的禮物時，十分高興，並抓住機會向我提出他們所關心的僭建問題，我亦很樂意回答。
我喜歡東涌，這是一個精心規劃的新區域，有著那麼多的綠化及開揚的空間。
那裏居住的大部分是中產階級，但這不影響他們對我們微薄應節禮物（粽子及濕紙巾）的喜歡。
I went to Tung Chung to join District Councillor Lam Yuet to distribute festive gifts to the local residents there. This time, our target group was the morning exercisers. We met scores of them practicing Tai Chi at the oval-shape covered walk way in the park near Seaview Crescent. Sometimes, I feel ashamed for not being as determined as these were in doing their morning exercise. They all looked very cheerful and upbeat. They were certainly pleased to receive the gifts from us and more importantly they seized the opportunity to ask me questions regarding issues in their estate which they were concerned about. For which I was of course pleased to answer.
I like Tung Chung. It is a well planned new town with so much green and open space there.
