在香港，對於我們來說，一個人可能擁有不同的名字和別名，這絕對是在法律允許範圍內的，但是，一個人不應被允許擁有多重法律身份，否則可能會觸犯《入境條例》第42條。然而在中國，一個人擁有多重法律身份相當常見。對於他們來說，護照或身份證就如“八達通”卡一樣可以隨意擁有和替換。
Multi identities
For us in Hong Kong, a person may have different names and alias which is absolutely permissible in law. However, one shall not be permitted to carry different legal identities otherwise one may commit an offence contrary to section 42 of the immigration ordinance. In China, it is pretty common for many people to carry different legal identities. For them, passports or identity cards are something like octopus cards which are replaceable and possess able.
