在過去的三天，我一直在一所坐落於繁忙都市中的羈留所裏工作，在平日，我會很容易略過這座建築物而沒有注意到它們的存在。
上週六的晚上，我收到一位客戶的緊急電話，他被扣留在機場的入境事務處，我猶豫了片刻，隨後接受了客戶的委託，調查的過程冗長而勞累。我和我的團隊不得不陪同客戶穿梭在拘留所之間，難以想像，拘留所就座落在這樣的一個繁忙公共地方。
這讓我意識到，不平凡的事物往往存于平凡的事物中，當我們把一切都認為是理所當然時，比如，人身自由，一旦沒有了，我們會才開始後悔！

For the last three days, I have been working on a case at some confined environments situated in busy places where in the normal event I would otherwise have passed by quickly without noticing their presence.
Last Saturday night, I received an urgent call for help from a client who was detained by the immigration department in the airport. I hesitated for a while if I should take it up but then I accepted it.
The investigation process was a long and tiring one. My team and I had to keep the client company and we also needed to shuttle through the detention centers, which it is hard to imagine it existing in such busy and common areas.
It made me realise that extraordinary things do exist amongst ordinary matters. When we take things for granted too much, such as, freedom which appears to be a matter of course to us, but once it is lost, one starts to regret!
