我上個月以貿發局代表名義去日本出差的時候坐了三個小時的子彈列車從大阪去到東京。這部時速250公里的列車三個小時的車程票價為1100日元。和廣州的子彈列車成本相比，時速為130公里的列車走150公里路程的票價為100元人民幣，亦即是，日本的列車每公里時2美元，廣州就是1.5元每公里，這樣看價格相差其實並不大，但需要額外考慮的一個問題是，東京的列車比廣州的列車快得多，如果這樣算的話，那麼廣州的列車就算貴了。
Guangzhou Bullet Trian
During my TDC business tour in Japan last month, I managed to take a the bullet train from Osaka to Tokyo. The fare for traveling at a 250km/ hr train for a three hour journey was at about $1100. Comparing to the cost of the Guangzhou bullet, they charge for $100 for a train doing a 150 kilometer journey at 130km/hr, the former unit rate is at $2/km whereas the latter is at $1.5/km. The price difference is actually not that much. But taking into account of fact that the Tokyo bullet is much faster, then one will realize that the costs for the Guangzhou train is even more expensive.
