在屯門公路塞車，於是我在車上聽了一個早上的電台節目，節目討論的是關於即將上任的特首住宅僭建的問題。節目主播提到，梁振英第一份工就是測量師，很應該知道這個建築究竟是否屬於僭建物。因此，我突然想起其實對於一般人來講，要分辨哪些是或者不是市容建設確實不容易。甚至更加有理由令我認為，政府在要求新界居民加入自行申報系統之前，應該要有更加詳盡細緻的解釋及指引。
Traffic Jam and Illegal Structures
Whilst being caught in a traffic jam along the Tuen Mun Road, I heard a morning radio program discussing about an illegal structure at the residence of the CE elect. The anchors commented that Leung should have known if such a structure was illegal or not as he was a surveyor in the first place. Hence, it just occurred to me that it is really not easy for a lay person to differentiate which is or is not an amenity facility. It even strengthens my belief that the government should be providing more explanations to the public before asking property owners in the New Territories to rush into the registration scheme.
