作為香港律師會主席，我被邀請共同主持由選舉委員會（法律界）舉辦的行政長官候選人論壇。那天晚上，只有何俊仁先生和唐英年先生有出席，而梁振英先生由於日程繁忙而謝絕出席。論壇由法律界人士掀起大家最共同關注的候選人對香港法治的承諾。何俊仁抨擊唐英年正在操作一例違法事件，就是他家的非法僭建物。唐英年並沒有怎麼反駁！而另一方面，何俊仁知道他在這次選舉中只是一個“落跑者”。
The CE candidates forum on 9-3-12
As the President of the Hong Kong Law Society, I was invited to co chair the CE candidate forum organised by the members of the Election Committee( Legal Functional Constituency). On that evening, only Mr. Albert Ho and Mr. Henry Tang attended as Mr. CY Leung had declined to attend due to his busy schedule. The forum was well turned up by members of the legal profession and the most common concern of all was on the candidates’ commitment for the rule of law in Hong Kong. Albert criticised Henry for running a contrary case because of his illegal structures at home. Henry had little to defend! On the other hand, Albert knew that he was only an “also to run” guy in this election.
