為超過5000位客人舉辦一場晚宴是一項相當具挑戰性的任務。昨晚香港大學在香港會議展覽中心舉辦了慶祝百周年校慶的晚宴。巧合的是，今年也是中國辛亥革命100周年紀念。因此，今年的慶典似乎更有意義。2012年將會是我的母校皇仁書院成立150周年，我很期待在明年12月參與慶祝活動，這對所有正在期待這個大日子的人來說將會是另外一個非常特別的時刻。
HKU centenary dinner
It is quite a challenging task to hold a dinner banquet for over 5000 guests. Last night, it was a joyful occasion for the University of Hong Kong who celebrated its 100th Anniversary at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Coincidently, this year was also the 100th Anniversary of the Sin Hai Revolution in China. Hence, the celebration seemed to be even more special this year. In the year 2012, my Alma Mata, Queen’s College will have been founded for 150 years and I look forward to celebrating her 150th Anniversary in December. That again will be a very special day for all of us who are anticipating the event!
