在Stephen Zack先生擔任美國律師協會會長期間，他對他的會員們說, 維護我們的社會文明是很重要的。一些人經常把言論自由掛在口邊而不尊重別人，還經常很極端地對他們案件進行爭論。
Stephen提醒我們應該保持客觀的心態，即使他對某些問題堅持自己的觀點，也應該嘗試接受別人的意見，有時還要提醒自己 “他可能是對的！”

There he stood on the stage, the President of the American Bar Association, Mr. Stephen Zack who addressed his fellow members and stressed the importance to maintain civility in our society. Some people in the name of freedom of speech do not pay respect to others and they always argue their case to the extreme. Stephen reminded us that one should always maintain an objective mindset even when holding on to one’s own views towards certain matters. One should also be prepared to accept the views of others and sometimes indulge himself with a question that he who speaks “might be right!”
