今天是打鼓嶺鄉事委員會主席Frank結婚。按照傳統，在進行任何重要的事件之前，都要擇中國通勝吉日。Frank必定已經做了諮詢，否則他做不了選擇這週六為婚日的決定。今天的天氣剛剛好，如果選擇在有黃色暴雨和百分百的濕度昨天，他能有一個絕對的“濕婚（wet-lock/wedlock）”。
這是Frank在打鼓嶺村的第一階段婚宴，因為要去北京的原故，下週三的第二階段婚宴我參加不了。
Frank, the rural chair is getting married today. By tradition, before conducting any important event, one would have to consult the Chinese Tung Sing for an auspicious date. I bet Frank must have consulted it before otherwise he would have been able to choose this Saturday to be his wedding day. The weather is just perfect. Had it been chosen for yesterday, he could have an absolute “wet-lock” because of the yellow rain storm and 100 % humidity.
This is Frank’s stage one banquet in his rural area. The second one will follow on next Wednesday which I could not attend due to my trip to Beijing
