Mark說，他在香港處理人權案件和酷刑索賠已有超過17年的時間，但他對香港並沒有制定人權法而感到很驚訝。即使我們有貓狗條例，但都是直到最近才有關於酷刑索賠條例的諮詢。從他處理Prevotov案件、FB案件和Rice Bag案件的經驗來看，有時候需要同一時間進行兩至三件的策略性訴訟。Mark認為，處理兒童案件比較能夠贏得宣傳和公眾關注。其實，適當地利用傳媒是很重要的，因為它是提高公眾意識的主要途徑。

Mark said he has handled human right cases and claims against torture in Hong Kong for more than 17 years. He was surprised that there is no human rights law here. Although we have the Dogs and Cats Ordinance it is only until recently that there will be a first and ever Claims against Torture Ordinance. In his experience with the Prevotov case, FB case and the Rice Bag’s case, it is necessary to run strategic litigation by bringing not just one but two or three cases at the same time. Sometimes children cases are needed in order to win publicity and public attention. Of course it is important to make use of the media since it is a main source of raising public awareness.
