Media training for the council members of the Law Society
Last Saturday I went to a very useful media training course. Mr. Michael Chugani gave us some useful hints as to how to answer questions posed by the media. He said the world we live in now is certainly different from that of the past. Patience is limited. Media is likewise. They would look for excitements and highlights in news rather than just the plain facts and the lengthy details. So, the way to handle the media is to make friends with them and to provide them with concise information, better still with the sound bites.
