傳媒在香港是備受尊重的，他們的專業精神值得稱頌。香港傳媒報導每一件受公眾關注並具重要性的事件。今天是屯門區議會本屆任期的最後一次會議，但這並不是他們在這裡的原因，他們的目的是採訪出席本次會議的警務處處長。我估計傳媒熱切希望得知警務處處長會如何回答議員就八月份李副總理訪港的保安安排的提問。
Media frenzy
Public media is well regarded in Hong Kong. Their professionalism is something to be praised about. They cover every issue which is either of public concern or something perceived to be important and draws the public’s attention. Today is the Tuen Mun District Council’s last meeting of this term but that is not the reason why they are here but rather that they came to see the Police Commissioner as he was also present at the meeting we attended. I guess the media is keen to hear how the Commissioner would answer to questions raised by the members regarding the security measures taken during the visit by Vice-Premier Li in August.
