海翠花園業主的團結是值得讚揚的。於2011年9月2日，我很榮幸被邀請參加他們的業主大會，見證他們免除大廈管理人職務的聯合行動。通過的門檻並不低，需要超過50%的業權份數來通過決議。雖然投票的時間比較長，因為必須要遊說那些沒有在投票現場出現的人，但是沒有人抱怨。相反，每個人都很努力地招取來自四面八方的支持。在晚上11：20左右投票被宣佈結束。於檢票後，大會宣佈決議以稍微超過50%的票數通過。
EGM of the IO of Pierhead Garden
The solidarity of the owners in Pierhead Garden should be commended. On 2nd September 2011, I was honored to be invited to attend their EGM to witness their united action in removing the estate manager.
The threshold was not low and it required more than 50% of the undivided ownership shares to vote and pass the resolution. Due to the necessity to lobby those who had yet to turn up to come forward and cast their votes, the polling time was relatively long, however commendably no one complained at all. Instead, every one of them tried hard to pull in support from all directions. The polling station was declared closed at around 11.20 p.m.
After the votes were counted, it was announced that the resolution was passed with marginal votes of 50 point something percent.
