自從我擔任良田村原村居民代表之後，我每兩個月向我的村民發出一封信件，呼籲他們參與村務工作。為了讓村民們認識他們的村代表，我于2011年6月11日在村公所前面空地舉行了盆菜宴。
雖然那晚下著雨，但是還是有500多位賓客到場。為了慶祝我的成功選舉為村長並當選為屯門鄉事委員會的主席，同時也為了慶祝陶錫源先生和曾展雄先生成功連任屯門鄉事委員會的副主席。三支麒麟舞獅隊和吉祥獸被安排在當晚迎接我們所有的賓客。
Hotpot dinner at Leung Tin Tsuen on Jun 11
Since I assumed office as the Indigenous Village Representative, I issued two monthly letters to my constituents, appealing to fellow villagers to participate in the village’s affairs. In order to enable fellow villagers to get to know their representatives, we held a poon choi (Big Bowl Feast) dinner gathering in front of the village hall on 11th June 2011.
Although it drizzled with rain that evening, we had a good turn out of about 500 guests. To celebrate my successful election along with Mr. To Shek Yuen and Mr. Tsang Chin Hung as the Chairman and Vice Chairmen of the Tuen Mun Rural Committee, three teams of Lion Dance and Kei Lun, the auspicious animals were arranged to greet us all on that evening.
