Eye Dotting Event
Village Representatives of Tseng Tau Village in Tuen Mun invited us to attend their hot pot meal and Windmill Opening event on 24th April. It was a great party. They hosted it for almost 800 villagers and guests and the entire evening was filled up with joy and excitement. The organiser particularly invited a master grade drummer all the way from Kuala-Lumpur to Hong Kong to do his skilful drumming show which was impressive.
Whereas the Lion Dance performed by his students on the piles was really spectacular. From what I was told, the applications for all those performances were just narrowly approved by the police the day before the event. I asked why? The answer given was that the police needed to screen through the participants to ensure that those performing were not related to the triad.
