在比賽的前20分鐘裏非常地平靜，雙方表現得同樣出色。细心地觀察，流浪球員的身手不及屯門球員的敏捷。屯門球隊的前鋒7號和25號行動極為迅速，後衛23號和5號防守也非常堅固，足以抵禦敵向的任何進攻。當然，守門員13號最值得一提，他是一名堅硬的鐵人牆。話雖如此，此場足球有幾個對於任何一方都不公平的裁決。也許，人為錯誤是避無可避的，除非引入最新的科技鑑証來監察足球比賽。在上半場比賽，屯門隊在開場的40分鐘最精彩，踢入一球，首先享受賽果1:0.

Tuen Mun vs Lau Long(Fourway Rangers)

For the first 20 minutes of the match, it was quite peaceful and both sides played equally well. Looking from the distance, the average built of the players of Lau Long did not seem as agile as Tuen Mun’s. Our front players’ no.7 and no.25 played sharply with our defence no.23 and no.5 being tough enough to resist all assaults from the guest team. Of course, the goal keeper no.13 deserves a mention since he really was an iron curtain.
Having said that, there were several penalties that were thought to be adjudged unfairly to either side. Most probably, due to human errors which were inevitable and will be so until such time that technological assistance is formally introduced into football matches.
Tuen Mun however brought in the climax by scoring a goal at 40 minutes into the first half of the match.
