北京機場的小小便利店

我留意到在機場的一所小小的便利店，居然有七位店員，他們打扮得優雅得體，端端正正地站在舖內，相互閒談。在我觀察的五分鐘期間，只有一位顧客光顧這便利店，並且只買了一小瓶蒸餾水，就僅此一宗小買賣，其中一名店員趨前接待了這位顧客，而其他六位店員保持原有態度，相互閒談。

Convenience Store at Beijing Airport

I was amazed to see that at this little convenience store in the capital airport, there were seven staff to man it.  All of them were properly and elegantly dressed.  They stood in an upright manner but were talking to each other.  During the five minutes of my observation, there was only one customer to patronise for a small bottle of water.  That’s all.  Only one of the seven staff entertained the customer while the other six remained, as usual, chatting with each other.
