政府總部

在一單在我看來是小題大做的案件的聽證休會期間，我走出高等法院9樓的電梯大堂，正用電話回答另外一位客戶的來電諮詢。我向外望著外面正在施工的政府總署大樓。沒有錯，很快一個新的立法會大樓就會出現，很可能明年就能落成。我暗自思考著：但願人們不要在這麼宏偉的地方去爭議那麼細，甚至乎不成問題的事情吧。

Government Headquarters

During the recess of a hearing over a matter which in my opinion was a storm in the tea cup, I came out into the lift lobby of the 9th floor of the High Court Building and whilst answering a call from a client, I looked outside at the construction site of the new Government Headquarters.      We would have a new Legco at there very soon and it would probably be functional by next year. I thought to myself, “Let’s hope that people will not squabble over tiny or even non important issues at a great place!!!”
