什麼是競爭法？目前香港的民眾暫時不會關心這個問題，但是等到他們意識到這個法例對香港的日常生活和貿易活動產生如何重大的影響時，就不會不關心這個競爭法了。據估計，該法例將會在明年的下半年成為正式法律的一部分。香港律師會和國際律協聯盟舉辦了本次的研討會，介紹這門法律的不單只有法律界猛人，也包括香港的其他知名人士，如香港商務及經濟發展局局長蘇錦梁先生，他給我們介紹香港競爭條例草案等。這是一個很有啟發性的研討會，但可惜場地有限，只可容納大約120名的觀眾，所以我們抱歉地要謝絕遲來的參加者。那些錯過本次研討會的人士可以登陸香港律師會的網站來瞭解本次研討會的詳情。

Seminar on Competitive Law
What is competition law? People in HK may not now care to know it too much but soon they will realise that it is no longer to be the case when this law has significant impact on our daily business and trading activities in HK. The law is estimated to become part of our law by second half of next year. The Law Society of Hong Kong has collaborated with UIA to organize this seminar to introduce this piece of the law-to-be for not just the legal community but also the public in HK. Amongst many prominent guest speakers, we have Mr Gregory So, the Under Secretary of the Commerce and Economic Development to give us an overview of the HK Competition Bill. It is actually an enlightening session we have today. But unfortunately, due to constraint of the venue, we could only accommodate about 120 guests and regrettably had to turn some of the late comers away.
